WannaBuy® is an exclusive brand of WannaBuy Technologies Private Limited ("WannaBuy", "we", "us"). WannaProperty, WannaVehicle, WannaC2C (Consumer to Consumer) and WannaB2B (Business to Business) are sub-brands of WannaBuy®, and this Privacy Policy applies to all of them, across the wannabuy.in website and the WannaBuy mobile apps (together, the "Site").

WannaBuy® is a registered trademark of WannaBuy Technologies Private Limited, registered under the applicable classes of goods and services. All content on the Site, including text, design, software, logos and brand elements, is copyright © WannaBuy Technologies Private Limited and protected under Indian and international copyright law. Unauthorised use, reproduction or imitation of the WannaBuy® name, marks or content is prohibited.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy is subject to the Site Policy (User Agreement) of WannaBuy. It takes effect from the date and time a user registers with WannaBuy by completing the Registration Form and accepting the terms of the Site Policy. Anyone browsing the Site without registering is not required to disclose their identity or provide any personal information.

2. Information we collect

To provide a personalised experience, WannaBuy may collect personal information from you, such as your name, contact details, location and the requirements or listings you post. Some sections of the Site may require you to complete a registration form. Information marked as optional may always be left blank. When you share your preferences, we can show you the requirements, offers and sellers most relevant to you.

3. Cookies and tracking

WannaBuy uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage, device identifiers) on the Site. We may also record your IP address, browser type and device information. We use the following categories:

Third-party cookies are governed by the privacy policies of the respective providers (Google, Microsoft, Meta). We review this list periodically and update it when tools are added or removed.

4. How we use your information

You agree that WannaBuy may use your personal information to operate the Site, match your requirements with sellers and dealers, improve its marketing and promotional efforts, analyse site usage, improve the Site's content and product offerings, and customise the Site's content, layout and services. These uses help us give you a smooth, efficient, safe and customised experience.

WannaBuy may also use your personal information to contact you with information relevant to your use of the Site, including administrative notices, product offerings and, in some cases, communications targeted to your interests. By accepting the User Agreement and this Privacy Policy, you agree to receive such communications. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time through your profile settings.

5. Sharing of information

Personal information you provide will not be shared with third parties without your prior consent, except as described here. When you post a requirement or listing, the information you choose to make visible is displayed to other users only after you consent. Information of a general, aggregated or anonymised nature may be shared with external parties. We may share information with service providers who help us run the Site, under obligations of confidentiality.

WannaBuy complies with all applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and cooperates with law enforcement. WannaBuy may disclose all or part of your personal details in response to a lawful request from law enforcement or other government authorities, or where there is a bona fide need to prevent an imminent breach of law.

6. Security

We make every reasonable effort to keep the information you provide secure. You are solely responsible for keeping your user ID and password confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. You are also solely responsible for any online or offline transaction you carry out using credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking or other payment instruments. WannaBuy does not process or store your card details and assumes no responsibility or liability for their misuse.

7. Your rights

WannaBuy gives you the ability to keep your personal information accurate and up to date. You may at any time:

Rectify, update, correct or delete your personal information;
Obtain confirmation of whether your personal information is being processed by us;
Access your personal information or exercise your right to data portability;
Restrict or withdraw consent to the continued disclosure of your personal information to third parties;
Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf as permitted by law.

To exercise these rights, write to support@wannabuy.in. We will ask for valid proof of identity before acting on your request. To delete your account, email support@wannabuy.in or use the settings in your account.

8. Grievance Officer

In line with Indian law, you may raise any privacy concern with our Grievance Officer at support@wannabuy.in. We aim to respond within the time prescribed by law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted on the Site with a new effective date, and continued use of the Site after that date constitutes acceptance.
